Winter at Dunnottar Castle

Have to confess to being a wimp...three wheeler is all ready to go and is sitting under its covers in the garage waiting for some slightly better weather. Had a wander out today in the little Fiesta to Dunnottar Castle to see if I could catch any of the atmosphere of the place before I go back to work on Monday. The atmosphere was certainly there, and was going past at a fair old rate of knots with some lovely snow squalls thrown in for good measure.

Another spectacular image, now I feel like I’ve wasted my weekend, poking about in the garage. I should have been out in the hills or along the cliffs. smile

Not at all, I cheated, the sunset photo was in 2004!

When I visited Dunnottar many summers ago, I was fortunate to catch Dame Diana Rigg on her smoke break filming for the BBC and she was kind enough to sign my guidebook. I have always been a big fan since The Avengers days. What a great place to visit.
