BMCNE cookout

There were two Morgans at this year's British Motor Cars of New England annual cookout in Cumberland, Rhode Island, June 30. Most attendees were Triumphs or MGs, but there was also a Morris Minor. Glorious weather, excellent food, and great company.

Those TR-engined Plus Fours are still the most common Morgans in America. There are still thousands of them, and they will probably outlast their owners.

(Today I was at the funeral of Paul Davidson. Next to the urn was a 1995 picture of Paul with Peter Morgan, with Paul's 1953 Flat Rad between them.)
