The last I heard of the car it was residing in the Blue Mountains of Australia. I sold it in 1995 to fund the next project. The chap who bought did say he was intending to use it in competition though.
Suspension bottoming was an occupational hazard I'm afraid and part of the reason for parting company with the car as it was getting much too dangerous to compete at that level in a Morgan.
The final straw came on the Manx Rally in 1995 when I saw my whole life flash before my eyes at well over 100mph on a stage, after bottoming out on the first of a series of yumps and then just praying that everything would stay in roughly in a straight line for the next 3 take offs and landings....which it did.
