A long way from home

Trogir, a nice coastal town in Croatia in the background. Now we are northbound again after visiting Kotor in Montenegro as our southernmost destination. We expect to see a total of about 7000kms on the odometer when we are back home in Norway in a couple of weeks drive

Wow, you are a indeed a long way from home. Norway to Croatia must be 2,500 kilometres!

Safe travels and hope you do not encounter any problems.

I will be driving to Slovenia from Uk in 2 weeks for a kayaking tour around the River Soča.

Yep unfortunately you've hit the worst May in living memory in this part of Europe. 4 of us from Around Vienna had planned to spend this week driving the Alpine passes of Austria, Slovenia (Including Bled) and Italy - that corner where the 3 countries meet. On Sunday we decided to postpone as at least one pass is closed and others had snow and it was just wet and miserable. Maybe late June or July we'll do it and complain about heat and sunburn laugh In any case well done for showing us up as the softies we are and sorry we didn't bump into you.

I will be taking my M3W to the top of Norway in a couple of weeks' time. Maybe we will bump into you on the ferry across from Denmark?
