Well, now they've stopped being used as templates for the wood frame, that's the chassis and bulkhead waved off to be blasted and painted (fortunately he does a lot of oil related and agricultural work as well as being an old car man so he's still working ....doing a pickup service with suitable distancing to save having people rolling up at his works) ..... frame glued and screwed just getting its final tidy up before feeding it as much cuprinol as I can persuade it to take (still have the door close blocks to fit on the elbow rails) .... well braced and has the scuttle in place to help keep its shape while I'm messing with it ....he reckons a few days and I'll have the painted bits back ....looking forward to that as I have the engine,front and rear suspension,fuel tank etc all pretty and ready to bolt back in ....should hopefully start to look more like a car and less like a pile of bits in short order now! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/02/20200502_144954.jpg) K

Chassis back this evening ....... and so it begins ..... the long climb back to functional car status  ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/05/20200505_192957.jpg) Couldn't wait to bolt on the front end ..... rear axle tomorrow if Mrs Image is feeling strong ..... then front hubs and pop it on its wheels ...that way we can push it across to the workshop where the hoist is to drop the engine in ..... every bit that goes back on liberates a bit more floor space ....really looking forward to not having to negotiate a mechanical maze to get from one end of the workshop to the other K

Up on her wheels! ..... much better as it can now be shifted about to allow me better use of the space if needed ....was a very large paperweight up til now Couldn't lift the rear axle across from the workshop yesterday as Mrs Image had a sore elbow due to spending the day digging ditches .... showed her a pic of a Russian shot-putter I found on Tinder (those lasses are built to last!!) ... fine this morning ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/05/07/20200507_152431.jpg) K
