None taken! I'm inclined to agree with you, which is why I've only ever put mine up twice.

when I was looking for a car, I found nice looking one with the hood down of course, then found the pix with it up....
never looked at another one since.
Hoods on old cars can either make of break the the cars design and attraction, Morgan have never got it right with the 4 seater and I guess never will.....sadly.
BARDIE'S thoughts on the matter are admirable but probably futile given that this has been going on for many years without a solution... soapbox

Hi all,
and thanks for your comments.

Really never thought of buying a (Trad) Morgan, but the one I prefer is surely the 4-seater!
It’s a pity that only one every ten trad-Morgan is a 4-seater.
I prefer it even though I usually don’t need four seats, but having more room is always useful (e.g. more space for tall people or for bags/luggage to put into the car during a long trip, well protected from rain/thiefs).

I really like the 4-seater also with the hood up (here in Italy we must frequently protect ourselves against the sunshine), but the hood must be modified in the designing/structure/materials/ in order to make it more protective and less fluttering.

I furthermore wished to give the 4-seater a more “sporty-looking” so decided to draw the hood smaller and lower even though renouncing the 4 seats (only 2+2 in my soft-top version but it could always become a four-seater by putting my hard-top for winter season).

Regards

Claudio
