Slow progress
The dealer is still awaiting parts from MMC, the headlights are, as you see, installed. The wait seems endless.

I can feel your pain. I thought the cars were shipped complete less engine and transmission and maybe a few country specific parts. Did MMC forget something?

I sympathise. My new Roadster has been sitting in quarantine at the dealers since the lockdown pending a few after market modifications. So near yet so far.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you get moving soon Thanks John - not the dealers fault, they had to shut down. But now they are re-opening on a limited basis and my car should be ready by the end of next week. Edit - sorry, just realised I think you were replying to the original post, not me

I can feel your pain. I thought the cars were shipped complete less engine and transmission and maybe a few country specific parts. Did MMC forget something? As previously reported here, some of the delay is due to changes I requested/made before the car left MMC. While much of that work was completed prior to shipment to the US, a few things were, to my surprise, items that the factory delegates to the dealer, and some are "dealer added" options. Of the latter... the lizard skin (undercoat) and opti-coat (ceramic paint protection) have also delayed completion. (The lizard skin is finished, the opti-coat is pandemic delayed.) The light at the end of the tunnel is that when completed, and shipped, the car should arrive with all the "customization" that I thought...still do...will make it unique to it...and me. I feel bad moaning about not having the car as there are people wondering where their next meal, or mortgage payment is going to come from.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you get moving soon John V6, thanks for your note... we here in the US are less incumbered (about driving) than other parts of the World. So the wait...since October 2019, is all the more aggravating as I could, if the car were here, but launching on her on her inaugural cruise. Thanks to all for the sympathetic messages.
