Starting to look a little more car-like ..... front end wiring in place and connected under the bonnet (still have the electrical knitting to do once the dash is ready to go in) .... rear wiring in tonight hopefully.

Congratulations, you’ve past the point of having a pile of bits, now you have an actual car.

I especially admire your comprehensive tool kit... a ball pein hammer and a pair of pliers!

Looking great K, using stainless nuts bolts and screws can pay dividends in time, it can save you spending ages fiddling with corroded fixings trying to take things apart the next time you have to restore the old thing... laugh2

Ewn ... not much you can't do with a ball pein hammer and a pair of pliers ..... there's two hammers in the pic .... who says men can't multi-task!

Luddite ....all the non-structural fasteners are stainless (with nyloc nuts) .... that's everything pretty much that isn brakes, suspension or steering (such as holding on the cross frame, calipers and steering box etc ) .... have stuck with tensile steel for those.... an 8.8 bolt is pretty much equivalent to an S grade so would probably be fine but it's a racing thing not to use stainless in critical places so it's just second nature .... I hope to avoid a rebuild this lifetime but it will help greatly for the less comprehensive work if all the fasteners undo easily and cleanly. Plus rusty bolt heads offend my sensibilities smile
