Thanks for your suggestion, but honestly I decided early in the design that side and rear windows needed to have an aluminium frame to compliment the door windows frames and the windshield frame. It also makes the hardrop look lower. Black rubber would have had the same effect as your suggestion. Visually with the brushed alu frames it looks more complete. Having said that I still respect your idea;)

Hi Hannes, do not worry I am always open to suggestions. I am a 'creative' so if I had to do another hardtop I would probably come up with a few other modifications as well;))
