Morgan Malta Group badge

A year or so after I got my 1986 Morgan 4/4 1600CVH from UK, I tried to get the few Morgan owners, living in Malta, together to form a 'group'. Next I set about designing a special badge and with collaboration with Mr. Hermen F.A. Pol, managed to produce a limited edition of my badge.
Most of these were sold to collectors and Morgan owners.
Images show the initial design and finished product. I also prepared 'Certificates of Authenticity' which were numbered and signed with each badge that was bought.

That's a rather nice badge.
A good number of years ago (more than 15), Sue and I had a 10 day holiday in Malta - her mother was born there, left when she was 1 year old.
One morning I came out of the hotel to find two Morgans parked across the road. One a blue (IIRC) +8. I think I took a couple of photos (on film).
Part of our trip was to see if we could locate some distant family members and where her grandmother would have been a nurse around the time of WW1. We failed on all counts, but did have a very enjoyable visit to the island. Although swmbo has passed on I still have the teapot given to her grandmother all those years ago by her fellow nurses.

We had intended to do more research on family and hoped to revisit. I had passed the island many times over the years in the Merchant Navy.

Sorry first run was all sold out. If I get enough enquiries I might order a second batch but minimum runs are unfortunately quite costly.

Was the grandmother Maltese and if yes what was her surname?

Yes (I may be one generation out here). I will have to find the paperwork we have (if nothing else I think I have Sue's Mum's birth certificate).
They moved to UK post WW1 when Sue's Mum was about 1 year old. Her grandfather was British and was in the military - I have a photo of him hanging in the hallway. I'll try to get a photo of the inscription on the teapot.
Might take a day or two to find the paperwork we had.
Thanks for the interest.

Hi again, and apologies for the thread drift.
I have failed so far to find the birth certificate, but have found an old B&W photo from 1960 .
This shows a memorial to the "Family Camilleri of Floriana" We did have a look for the memorial in the graveyard of the cathedral? The photo was taken by one of Sue's relatives who is no longer with us. On the back is written Father, Mother, Dora, then a few words I can't decipher. Pretty sure I remember the first two would refer to Sue's maternal (great?) grandparents. Can't see a date on the memorial in the photo.
The teapot has the following inscription: "From the Sisters Mess St. Elmo Milty Hosp Malta June 1917"
We did visit the National War Museum - St. Elmo, but no one knew about the hospital. We also spent more than one day meandering Valletta (probably in some areas we should have been aware of surroundings smile ). We did wonder if the hospital may have been adjacent to St. Elmo bay.
Cheers,
Graham
