Luddite .... I've retained more than enough ripples and dings from its previous life to ensure she never has to trouble a concours judge!! 🙂

Clean and mechanicaly and bodily renewed ... but with enough imperfections to ensure I don't get all precious with it.

Making use of the bonnet stays I built from the thread on here .... and with the Morgan-obsessed petrolhead cat making sure she gets in on the act!!

Thanks for the kind words ... I must admit I'm happy with how it turned out ... satisfies my liking for old but useable cars .... without over-doing it I've tried to play to it's pre-war DNA and soften the '70s influence. Wasn't sure about keeping the colour scheme, but I think that, along with the aeroscreens, the two-tone gives it a nice 'old-timey' look.

TBM .. I think we share a taste for vehicles! 👍

First thing will be 5 new tyres ... those are pretty old in spite of having plenty of tread left.

Luddite ... we used to live in a converted methodist chapel in a village in Yorkshire before coming to the NE ... just before moving I'd re-slated that single-handed .. roof was the size of an aircraft carrier!! .... Although I rebuilt the house hands-on, we had an old builder and his two sons we got to help with the odd jobs that were physically impossible solo ... when it came to slating the roof I was still twitching at the sight of yet another slate after the chapel roof, so I got them to do it while I got on with the underground piping .... about the only major job I farmed out ... the old guy and I were chatting about the tower roof when I'd finished doing the wooden structure for it and he agreed to fancy slate it for the same price as plain as a learning opportunity for his lads ... nobody asks for that sort of work anymore and he was keen to pass the skills on to them while he had the chance .... win for both of us 🙂

Rode about on the track in the car today (no road work until the insurance is sorted) .... Mrs Image approves of the rorty side exhaust note ... whether that approval will last 100 miles of it remains to be seen!!🙂
