At the end of "mainland" Europe

Taken last week at the western end of the Dingle peninsular in Ireland....as far west as you can go except onto a smal island...and yes it was raining...

Roads in Ireland are great for touring with minimal potholes. The locals were really hospitable...the M3W got lots of comments all the way ... and was even "blessed"!

Well done JMD, that's quite a drive thumbs

My brother has a place in Malin, the furthest north you can go (despite being Southern Ireland still)

Well done JMD! Nice looking green car to match the Emerald Isle.

Always even more exciting to drive a M3W abroad, although always a worry what would happen if you had a puncture on the rear so far from a specialist who could jack up the car.

I have been doing business in Ireland for many years and know The Dingle Peninsula well.

When I started working there in the Nineties my van would be wrecked from the terrible state of the Irish roads. These days its a complete reversal and the Republic of Ireland roads are some of the best in Europe. Whereas The UK roads must now surely be the worst?!

Congrats on what looks to have been a bit of an adventure, I guess that will be an image to treasure... I have a few of those..(-:
I have never driven in Ireland, though did sail round Malin head, not the place to be in a wind over tide situation, and worse still when the locals are fishing for salmon with their nets reaching out far off shore...! Just my luck..!
