The world needs beaitiful but illogical things .... just think of it as Performance Art!.
Don't see many Zodiacs about these days .... Consul/Zephyr/Zodiac shared the same shell .... Consul was the poverty 4-banger and the Zodiac the 6-pot top-ender .... the era of the 'Mini Yank-tank' 🙂
Good luck with some weather-windows to get out and about in it!
K From memory the Zephyr could be be a 4 or 6 pot, the Zodiac was always the 6 pot. Agreed, I passed my test on my Dad's Zodiac Mk3 and my Uncle had a Zephyr Mk2 at the time with 4 cylinder engine. I believe the TV series "Z cars" featured the six cylinder Zephyr Mk 2 and later Mk3. Ewans example looks like Zodiac Mk2, they often had two tone paintwork.

Slightly boring backdrops but rest assured, this this will be appearing live in some of the best spots in Scotland in due course. Nothing wrong with a few vessels in the background! Good looking car

I am not very interested in Ferrari - one reason is the money : That’s okay, they’re not to everyone’s taste and can indeed look crass and vulgar in the wrong hands, but not on here. Cars ( and anything else really) are either interesting or boring, we all like to discuss the interesting, that’s the great thing about this forum!

I prefer the older Ferraris really, same as older most things. Did see a red Testarossa in Dundee on our way up to Aboyne a couple of Saturdays ago, and it looked good amongst the moderns.

Mate of mine has just got an old Ferrari 400, he says he'll keep it for a bit, but knowing him he'll have swapped or traded it in for something else in a few months (I think he swapped about three or four for this one, including a 928 and Richard Hammonds old Ford A).
I'll be honest, I'm not an aficionado of 'super cars' and although Porsche are fairly recognisable, I can't tell the difference between most of the modern offerings from Ferrari, McClaren etc....

Here’s a little simplified history of v8 mid engined Ferrari My previous 488, similar to the non turbo 458 ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/10/13/IMG_7264.jpeg) My F430 similar to the 360 ( of Enzo and F40 era) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/10/13/IMG_7075.jpeg) A couple of cars a the recent Buckie motor show, the 355, similar to the 348 ( of testarosa era) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/10/13/IMG_7399.jpeg) The “Magnum PI” era 328 and probably the most recognisable.similar to the 308 ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/10/13/IMG_7387.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/10/13/IMG_7386.jpeg)

How does this new 488 compare to your previous one Ewan? Is the current one a revised version?
Love the Enzo shot in particular; very atmospheric.

Fundamentally they’re identical, both 660hp just cosmetic differences in the specifications, my new one is only a year newer. The final V8 mid engined run out version is the F8, they’re 720hp, but they’ve a DPF on the exhaust so there’s not much of a note. Now all replaced with the V6 hybrid 296 which I think is about 800hp! They do actually make other stunning colours, for a very brief moment, I even considered a brown one with tartan seats currently for sale😂
