Metal Tonneau
While a hard top makes a Morgan beautiful it is generally claustrophobic. Most of the time I run the car without the top and with the screen folded down. At high speeds I wear helmet and goggles. The problem is the canvas tonneau cover is noisy and running without it, you end up with all the stuff flying out of the car.
Inspired by an idea ( Fred Sisson's Morgan Driver's Bedtime Reader book page 154 ) I designed and had it fabricated a metal tonneau cover. The result is acceptable for me. See photo

The seats look interesting & non standard as well. What are the brackets for before the roll bar.

That looks good .... nice 'track' feel to it ... those are pretty substantial lap belts .. are they part of a former race harness? ... do you have pics showing the whole car?.... looks great and works well with your driving style .. what's not to like!

I thank you all for encouraging comments
The Brackets
The hard top fixes to the car at six points two of those points are metal studs protruding from from the hard top which are embedded bolts and fit inside those brackets . By the help of two wing nuts and washers they are screwed down. Then there are two "L" shape brackets which then secure the hardtop to the windshield. Finally there are two rubber tie downs (like Jeep bonnet tie downs) inside the back of the car hooking the back of the hard top. This site has difficulty with pictures 1 Size has to be small, and nowadays the pictures are big in size from the camera so extra work is needed to reduce the resolution. 2 You seem to have to have a new topic each time you want to add pictures So I try to economize in my efforts. Unless you guys guide me out of my errors
Seats
The bucket seats are so expensive and rare so I designed sides (almost L shape from steele) and by cutting two solid pieces of wood to a desired size they got screwed together making the frame of the seat. The rest was the magic of the genius Russian/East European upholsterer. For pair metal about $120, wood $60 Upholstery (including Mercedes hide) $600 the badges (sewn on) $10
Wheel Cover
In order to achieve the visual on this 2,3 litre (almost) car I had my neighbour cut a Marine plywood circle which then was covered with white adhesive vinyl which sported my racing numbers (442). The edge was finished with U shape materials used for edges of pinball machines for the black surround . Not only it looks fast it is fast 85 mph at 3500rpm
Seat Belts
In the process I bought 2 old ones but they were worn out beyond use. I still have them. The company who used to make them for the DOD in the USA is reproducing them to the same standards so these are new, but I never use them. One of the joys of this car in California with all its restrictions are that pre 1962 cars drive around with no requirements for seat belts, no requirements for catalytic converters, no annual smog check , no limitation for exhaust noise. So the cars drive down the freeway (motorway) screaming like a banshee overtaking any or all.

Unless you guys guide me out of my errors The site is set to 2 Meg per image limit but you can post multiple images per post (10 photos per post, so in theory 20MB per post). This is set for two reasons: firstly to ensure the site is not slow to browse for people with slower connections on image heavy posts; secondly, because the site and all the information is already vast in terms of storage size. Thus you should be able to post multiple images per post.

Few questions 1 other than using the gallery how are people inserting images on the posts All my pictures are in my computer and have nothing on Cloud or Sky or Universe:-) 2 Do you have a system to reduce the size of the pictures? 3 "insert a file" does not appear on all posts so the only other way for me is every time a new gallery, which is no problem as I do not visit this site frequently Thanks for your help
