One swallow does not a summer make

Thankfully there were hundreds of swallows this morning at my home from home, summer must be coming!
Beautiful to watch them fly and close enough to touch.
Sorry it’s only phone quality….

Guess yours don't have the under-wing drop tanks ours have for the extra range to reach up here!! 😁

Another acquisition? .... that colour scheme is fairly 'individual' ... can't place the location, but looks local.

The Lotus isn’t ours, it just happened to be parked on the street in Stuartfield, it had an incredible green velour interior, looked ace.
The damsel fly was also in Stuartfield, we had a rigorous walk over the Hill of Dens.

It’s a wet start to Father’s Day, didn’t stop me heading to the woods though, this wee critter seemed quite content with the weather.
Baby Reindeer……

Was about to make some quip about how cold it was in Peterhead all the time so you had resident Reindeer ... then realised it was a reference to some entertainment show on the Televisator (or whetever the cursed thing is called by it's followers!) .... little beauty ... the mother ones are bringing their fauns into the garden here ... still in the wobbly and spotty stage 🙂

K

The spots fade pretty quickly once the fauns are fairly nippy on their new legs ... good camoflauge ... you can see it blending in behind its Mum ... taken yesterday

That’s a beautiful picture, Keith, it’s amazing how such large animals can thrive without any help.
The little one I found was so young, it didn’t even flinch when came upon it, I didn’t see any signs of the mother but no doubt she’ll be close by.
Re the Netflix series of the same name, I actually think the nutcase woman should receive a cut from the profits, the publicity she provided by pursuing a claim against them is the only reason anyone has watched it.
