Pandy,
Are those vintage black and silver plates legal in France on a new car? Have heard mixed answers to the question. Thinking of getting for my 4/4 sport and hoping the Police won't realize the car is new, unless I get stopped.

Er, not strictly, no. They are only legal on cars first registered about 1990 or so (can't remember which year). They were the ones fitted when I first collected the car & Remy at Morgan France said they've been putting them on customers cars for years with no trouble. The car has been admired by various flics & not one has mentioned them.

I've just come back from a drive in the Mog - minus 9- beautiful day: my son greeted me with, "Tell me you didn't get out of the car, please Dad." What? I was warmly dressed; fleece, flying jacket, sheepskin hat, gloves and shorts. Youfs, what are they like?
