On Saterday 16 and Sunday 17 of August there was the 40th Oldtimer Fly/Drive-in at Airfield Schaffen - Diest in Belgium.
Around 200 classic aeroplanes and 2000+ classic cars (we call them "oldtimers") attended the show during the week-end.
Sunday afternoon I've spotted 7 Morgans (including mine off course).

It has been a very busy Morgan period and much more is coming.
But we were there, only on Sunday. On Saturday we were in Zeeland for the Rodenburg ride.

Departure at the market place of Middelburg.



For a beautiful ride to the Veerse Meer for lunch.
Where a +8 needed extra attention.



Another stop at the seawall



And then to visit a vineyard "De Boe" with tasting! Yes, even in Zeeland.
Tasty white wine.



And then to Vlissingen for dinner where we were allowed to park on the seaside of the quay.



Oh yes, Sunday Oldtimer Fly-in.
It's just a few kilometers from our home.
My friend from MSCCH, Maurizio told me that he would like to see that.So I invited him for coffee and a scenic route of 8 Km to the airfield.



When the weather is nice, there is always a traffic jam.





There were indeed many Morgans. Most of them are familiar to me.

The rest of the story.
Even my old 4/4 was there, but I didn't see the new owner among the crowd.



My good friend Dolf was also there.



I have been coming here for over 25 years, but thanks to Mauricio's (a former pilot) explanation it was all twice as interesting.That I even forgot to take pictures of the airplanes.










And show that there is no wooden chassis.
