From Garage to Grid follows my journey forming a privateer race team, Aspect Racing, to compete in the Morgan Challenge a one make race series for Morgan motor cars. Aspect Racing, a team created through conversations, friends and family, a meeting of minds and shared passion for engineering and motorsport. This channel exposes the months of hard work and problem solving that goes into preparing a car and driver to race for the first time. New episodes will arrive every couple of weeks, following the high's and lows, frustrations, laughs, and triumphs as the team lead up to our first racing campaign in 2026.

Even the super spec helmet I had at the back end of racing is out of certification and I'm having to get a new one (well new everything 🤦‍♂️) I think the middle age dad bod would have meant new kit... .. but at least my bum can still get in the seat.. ha!

I would love to say it was a BDA... it's a 2000 cc Zetec E Blacktop... it's about as close to a BDA (well BDG) as you can get without it actually being the real thing... I've put together a few bitesize episodes... and looking at the footage I already have we are likely to move to weekly episodes to get through them all.
