New year sail

1st sunny day this year and calm seas, a rare combination and ideal for a boat trip.
Some spectacular sights from Bullers of Buchan to the Ythan estuary.

Thank you, he looks to fill it up pretty well so I imagine you are fairly close on headroom when the lid goes on.
I seem to recall your road trip with your son he is of similar build so the same must go.

That colour scheme is a belter.

Beutiful day today, I was tempted to take the Morgan but it’s still a bit salty here and there so I took the pizza express.😁 to Cairnbulg then Gamrie, parked on the pier and walked to Crovie.

Great pics as ever, thanks for posting Ewan.

Wonder if you might have watched Mat Armstrong`s latest 296 GTB repair/ modification vid, where it seems he may currently be in a bit of a bind as Ferrari are seemingly not too keen to supply some level of assistance... Interesting stuff... Hmm..?

I’ve gone off the boil a bit with car tube vids but I’ll give it look. The smashed cars are fun to watch but they’re just bodge ups really, Matts dad comes across as a jolly good fellow though. All the other popular tubers are, for me, unbearable with the sole exception being Chris Harris.

Most of my early sports cars were...err... bodge ups....(-: and come to think about it my daily drivers too..!
For sure all the giggling in Mat`s vids is a bit of a distraction from the tec stuff, but for a guy who started out repairing a damaged car in the car park of a restaurant, he has come some way...?
The current accident damaged Bugatti project Mat is involved with in the US is also ruffling feathers as he pulls it apart, and provides both insight and education as to an alternative way of repairing supercars, which if you go back to the first line of this mail was the only way I could own my first car, a 59 frogeye Sprite with corrosion issues in the extreme.. Yeah hardly a supercar, but I thought it was at the time... (-:

My mid 80`s +8 is more in my comfort zone of self reliance than all the digitally dependence that even the most basic of mundamemobiles depend upon these days.. Good old Morgan.. (-:

As ever each to their own..(-:

Lovely day today, I even almost took the Morgan out, roads were too muddy for that though.

Great shots - we have a lot of the belted Galloway on Dartmoor year round, Highland as well but not your type of horse.
