Bringing her home

Nearly 3,000 km in 10 days and still smiling we arrived home on Lake Como.

The trip was fantastic. If it wasn't for other commitments I think we would still be out there somewhere. Probably we would have turned right and headed into Spain. Ah well, next time we just might do it.

Thank you Morgan and all at the factory for creating such a fabulous car for us.

I've enjoyed your posts and the account of your return trip to Italy Peter. I would quite like to have collected my car direct from the factory & driven it back to France, but for one reason or another it would have proved difficult, so I just picked it up from Morgan France who are all of about 15km from where I live. I still haven't yet visted the factory; doing so has to be on the cards this year.

Incidentally, would you mind telling me how much the Morgan suitcase set you back over in blighty ? In a quick scan around one or two dealers & the MMC site I've failed to find it. Morgan France are asking € 550 for it.

Thanks Jays. I could only find the squashy overnight bags. You obviously know your way around the website as you do your way around the factory. MMC should really give you a job.

It is a pretty heavy item just by itself Giles but it is very solid and well made. Given that it is hanging out the back of the car I believe care should be taken to pack only light objects in it. Leave the space behind the seats for the three cases of wine you are going to bring home wine
