Heinz,
I still struggling with the number plate in the front of my + 4 SS. How have you? Is it a sticker plate or is it an original that you have rounded a bit.
regards
Thord

Hi Thord It´s a regular aluminium plate. It was rounded before sticking. It seems to be a very durable solution. I used tesa® Montageband OUTDOOR. http://www.tesa.de/consumer/befestigen_aufhaengen/montagebaenderUntil now I have good luck with the police (because it´s mounted a bit too close to the tarmac and the angel makes it not so good readable from every view). But it looks quite good, plus it is not an illegal foil.

Günter asked me to experience a trackday together with him, just for fun. (not to rival as his driving abilities play in another league and his car runs on A048 etc). I don´t do it as long I have no roll-bar. Guess I can let fit one which lets me drive without the must of a helmet. (Plus4SS roll-bar is too close to your head). We will see...

Very nice photos Heinz, I especially like #4, has a 'top of the world' feel to it. By the way, I've just noticed you car has the bonnet locking pins, do you find these a faff? - the factory demonstrator had these and it took five minutes to shut the bonnets because the alignment was poor

On my first Roadster (I was unexperienced with Morgans so far) the bonnet opened when speeding 180km/h on the Autobahn. That was not amusing. Mercifully the (half side) bonnet didn´t clash or blew away because it opens sidelong. Since I always ordered aftermarket bonnet locking pins. And of course, now I check all screws holding the main bonnet clamps every time when checking oil. The additional P4SS locking pins can be easily guided (after getting some routine) by fingering from inside through the bonnet when closing.
