These photos show some detail of how the Borghi driving/fog lights are mounted on the badge bar. The bar is anchored to the overiders and the cabling is hidden behind the overiders.

Are you/they offering a kit of parts?

You can have lights with plain lens or patterned lenses (as in the photo - like the headlights)or even one of each. The price is the same.

I am sure he would sell them as a kit. You would need to drill a hole in the side of each overider. It makes the whole system very stable and solid. There are no holes to drill in the bodywork.

Thanks for this, shall think about the logistics ie would need to find a good fitter.

Was the wiring straightforward? I hear so many comments on upsetting the electrics, engine warning lights on and blown fuses, have always been reluctant to touch the electrics.

Did you end up with a separate switch for the spots? If so, where did they locate it?

I did not install them, Borghi did.

They are wired into the side lights circuit for power to the switch and I would assume they use a relay picking up the power for the lights themselves from another source. They normally use the aircon switch which is free on most cars but as I have aircon they put a pull switch under the dash near the switch that controls brightness of the dash lights. They can be turned on only when the sidelights (or headlights) are on. This means they are set up as fog lights. If they are set up as driving lights they must be on only when the lights are on high beam. That is just a variation of where they pick up the power.

I am sure Borghi would supply a diagram for the wiring if asked but I would suggest asking a competent auto electrician or your Morgan workshop of choice to install them.
