Graham I think it is the same problem that I have which is typical of sports exhaust systems. See Jay's post:

In my case Aero Racing have sent a manifold wrap kit because they believe the cat is not getting hot enough and therefore not working correctly. I will report if this is successful next month after the work has been done.
