Having had a "dirty weekend" the underneath of my 4/4 was very muddy. I decided to jet wash undeneath the wheel arches and got all the mud off but unfortunately the black underseal seems to be flaking/wearing off the wooden board between the wheels and the engine (I assume that is what it is) and also underneath the wheel arch itself.

Do I simply repaint it with the above Dinitrol tackle or is it more involved to the point that I should ask the local dealer to sort it for me?

Also, I know that there is another thread about this but I thought I could kill two birds with one stone. My car was serviced 3/4 months ago by the main dealer and I assume it was greased underneath. I was told however that this needed doing regularly (nipples, suspension etc) and I have done about 800 miles since. Should I have it done again before my Mog hibernates for the winter?

Thanks
