Llanelli Radiators was a place I worked in for a while. The ultrasonics was at Duport Steel where we installed modern in-line test equipment for testing the billets at inspection.
As for antifreeze, it acts to lower the freezing point. A side effect is elevating the boiling point as well, and this, added to the pressurised system, raises the boiling point further so that a higher temperature can be managed. Modern antifreeze also has corrosion inhibitors but corect type is needed due to materials used in newer engines/cooling systems.
I was born in Carmarthen and lived for my early life in Llanelli.
My father still lives there and my garden shed in Surrey has a Felin Foel dragon pub sign on it.
