Thanks for the responses. In regards to the above, do you mean that they will be coating the standard exhaust? Morgan is offering a "black exhaust pipe" option, which I believe blacks out both the exhaust manifolds and the side exhaust pipes at a cost of £ 400.00. If I go that route I would like to keep the heat shield polished, instead of black, for some contrast. It is good to know however that the stock exhaust holds up well. It looks brilliant new.

Someone also told me that the standard exhaust glows in the dark at night. Either very cool looking or unnerving.
