Now had my second Morgan for 10 months. The first, a 4/4 I bought new and kept for 10 years. Great car, no problems. Had Mogsport fit throttle bodies and their suspension package; this plus a Simmonds hood made it a very fine car to own. Changed last December for a +4. Uhm...! Build quality is nowhere near the first car and there have been a number of warranty issues. Had to curtail a Scottish trip last weekend because of an ECU problem. A previous Scottish trip in the Spring was spoilt buy a major exhaust manifold problem. Car is currently at an agent having the ECU and a number of warrenty problems attended to. Done 7000 mile since delivery. For £42k I expected better. Could have got a Boxster or two MX5s for the price! Supplying and servicing dealers fine. Factories attention to detail and its apparant obsession with buying the cheapest components is worrying for the future. We used to talk about Friday cars - perhaps I have one and my experiance is untypical ?
