Bentley clocked up a loss of almost £4000 for every car sold last year, according to the luxury carmaker's latest accounts.
Reminds me of the story of David Brown showing a big Hollywood star (I think it was Cary Grant) around Aston Martin when the DB5 came out. At the end of the tour, said movie star told him that he loved the car, but that as a big star he should be able to buy one at cost price. DB thanked him effusively, pointing out that everybody else was getting their car for £600 less than that.
