I have to say that my life is full of leather steering wheels, so the slim wooden 13" (I think it's a small one) feels substantially different and that's good because the whole Morgan Tudor experience is what I'm after! smile

On the nail varnish repair..... Which I'm half considering attempting.....

The chip has exposed the wood, which is obviously a very light colour. Would a clear varnish gradually darken this?

I've also emailed two local furniture repairers and might have them do it. Eeek!

Also.... I've just been out to check the coolant level on a very cold Morgan. It's now just a fraction lower than halfway between min/max. Which is fine. When the engine's hot it's on the low mark.

Funny thing is, I've never checked engines before! It's just so accessible on a Morgan that it tempts you to tinker. Very dangerous in my case.
