I am trying to get equipped, should the need arise, to change a wheel (wires) on the road-side as quickly as possible. I'm about to buy a long-arm wire wheel nut spanner and today I heard for the first time about electric scissor jacks. Does anyone have experience of these? Are they man enough for the job and, assuming so, what about drain on the battery? It would be a shame to swap one breakdown incident (puncture) for another (flattened battery) immediately afterwards
