What the deciding factor for me in ordering one of the Gulf cars was I priced up creating my own even before I saw the one from MMC and it came out at almost 34K.
That was having the decals etc. done after receiving the car. Much hassle, I'd rather drive it thanks.
My main departure from the MMC car was to have the wheels powder coated orange and not orange wall tyres as these are consumable items and will be replaced eventually. Also I wanted orange stitching on the seat instead of black as I propose to change the original wheel for a 280mm Momo item.
So to sum up:
1K over the odds is not too bad for a genuine factory Ltd. model I suppose.
I think I'm still trying to convince myself though.
Better not tell SHMBO how much it is, she hasn't asked so I haven't told her!
There'd be hell on.
