When I fit new tyres I'll re-evaluate tyre pressures. However, at 24 psi on the rear I have photos of tyre sidewall roll while on an Autosolo last year - that's first gear speeds. If I run 22 I get lots of tyre squeal on any roundabout &c. without much trying! So 24/26 reduces that while still allowing the tyres to soak up some of the rougher elements of our roads (the ones I have failed to avoid!) smile
I do have 80% aspect ratio tyres though...
On my '98 +4, on Toyos (55%?), I ran 23 psi all round, which seemed to fit it quite well...
Cheers,
