MonteZooma - not sure this link is still live but, if it is, many thanks for the guidance. The mirrors were a Christmas present so I couldn't get to play with them until today. Everything was as you described. I used a little Swarfega as the lubricant on the seals and stems and that worked well. The mirrors certainly look better and the rearward view on both sides is much improved. Thanks again, and HNY!
