I went out for a spin today and some dozy bugger cut me up..... Pressed the horn.... No horn.
Fortunately there wasn't an accident, but annoying not to have a horn.
When I got home, I took the central boss off (MotoLita wheel) and noticed that the wire from the boss to the car has come off.
I can't see where this attaches as its cleanly come off somewhere, not leaving a clue where it once was.
One end has a spade connector to the boss.... But where does the other end attach?
It looks like it could be soldered onto the copper spring thing that presses on the back of the wheel (forming a circuit) and I've tried to attach it but the horn keeps sounding when the wheel's at full lock.
Anyone know?
Thanks....
Update... Fixed.
I checked out some other forums and found out where the wire goes. It attached to the back of the brass coloured ring. There's a small hole where the brass ring shows through and the wire is supposed to be soldered on. It took a fair amount of soldering to get it to stick, but it's done.
