My wife got one of those once when I could not see the sign (after redevelopment around Liverpool St) and were "blocked" in by two buses. We wrote and explained this to no avail! Aghh
Appeal it to the Traffic Commisioner. Apparently a fairly high percentage of appeals are allowed.
