Regarding the mud on the leather by the boot hinge- I seem to recall someone on TM fitted a plastic mudguard directly above the rear tyre, I guess this will prevent crud getting thrown about.
Just out of curiosity, is your steering wheel an upgrade or standard issue for late models?
