You are not alone.
I also had a leaking rad in my 2001 4/4.
It was replaced by a Mulberry unit.
It took some timevto get it right, but I think avoiding the factory options the most sensible.
The quality if the stock unit was horrible. I could loose 1 litre driving 30km, and that was when the cars tital mileage was close to 4000miles.
