Thanks - you are all right and patience is a virtue, I guess !!
But I at least took a trip to the garage to look at my car today (the weather is ok for a tin top). Richard Thorne showed me the controls and under the bonnet - damn, those bonnet catches are difficult to open and shut
Even better, I sat in the car and fired her up. The engine thrummed into life and I could feel the car vibrate to the beat of the engine - this is definitely a car that’s eager for the open road. The dash lit up in neon blue when I started the engine - it looked great.
Looks the weather will be better on Monday so hopefully I can collect her then
