Quicksilver, the motor looks very shiny. Roll on Monday and hopefully better weather. I was given the tip regarding the bonnet catches, if possible using both hands Put fingers under bonnet and using your palms squeeze down on the bonnet catches, rear one first. Hope that helps.
She does need to get a bit dirty - but the sleet, salt and spray on the roads today would have made a bit too much mess on day one of ownership.
Thanks for the tip about the bonnet catches - I did use that technique but still found them very difficult. They are probably stiff and need to loosen up a bit.
