Thanks everyone for advice on the bonnet catches. I will try a drop of oil if the tightness persists.
Jay, the centre stalk and steering column were sourced by Richard Thorne from Morgan Park in Hamburg. They look great and I am very pleased with them. The Morgan Park version looks exactly the same as the MK version so I wonder if he makes them for Morgan Park. MK also do an alternative version with leather gaiters.
You do lose the intermittent wipe function from the stalk (my dealer has ordered a button to go beneath the dash which will restore that function). The best steering column/ centre stalk is apparently made by Merz and Pabst - although I can find no information on this from their website and I have heard it is horrendously expensive.
