You can fit the integral servo + master but there are also remote dual line servos that will still use the original dual circuit brake master cylinder, sometimes out of stock, ask:

On these years of cars it is often found that the rears lock before the fronts, so I roller brake tested my 1986 4/4 and Frt:Rr was 50:50. So I fitted a 1.9:1 to the fronts and got close to 66:34 Frt:rr so front now just lock first, confirmed on the rolling brake test to. This also of course reduces the force needed on the brake pedal for the same retardation by 33%. THIS IS WHAT I DID IT IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR OTHERS TO DO.
