Having charged my rear/front suspension set up, and talked to a few people first, I would recommend you do the same before changing the rear springs. I read a number of articles that said making the rear springs too stiff on a MOG can have the effect of turning the back into a proverbial kangaroo. Stiff rear end might be great on a circuit but not on our uneven and pot holed roads, you don't want it hopping about.

I have lowered mine 1 inch rear(keeping original springs) and 3/4 lower up front, with panhard rod and adjustable gas shocks all round, front springs are 150lbs with roller bearings under the top springs and top pillar tie bars. I have played around with shocker settings for a reasonable ride on roads, a 1/3 setting is good, if on a track I would set at least double this all round. Front camber angle is 0.5 degree (in at top).

Would be interested on anyone else's thoughts on rear springs, especially for +8's
