I might try pouring some water down the leading edge of the door to see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if the water tracks the bottom of the door (and may also get in through the leading edge). Good luck...

yes, I definitely need to do it. The nice/horrible thing is that I cannot do it in any open spot since as always there are too many people stopping and staring at the car, ahahah. And I spend more time explaining than doing
