I had done some DIY here and there on my previous cars and I am not afraid of the work itself.
Nevertheless I like to share information and, before starting to do something I always try to read as much as I can, learn from other people experience, picture the work that I am going to do and anticipate any issue I already foresee.
Usually a great source for this kind of information are bulletin boards and forums.
Having said that I am not sure that the spoon solution is the right one. Not for the tool itself that anyhow will probably ruin the leather but on the sequence.
If you look at the picture above you will see that the door card is not coming out in one piece.
I imagine that items 12 and 15 will be the ones to be taken away first. Panel 1 seems to be kept in place through screws numbered as 3.
Where I am stuck is how to remove the quilter leather panel that is covering part 1 and part 13.
But, as you said, I do not think that in here there are too many people who made this job by themselves and I imagine that who did it went through a dealer since the car is not a prerogative of "old school Morgan owners" yet.
