On my Plus4 I had what I thought was a metallic screech from the door -- it was actually from the rear of the bonnets - once I put a good dollop of Vaseline on the bonnet tape it disappeared!!

The first job I saw Berrybrook's ace mechanic do when my 4/4 went in for service, was. . . you guessed it! Apply Vaseline to the front and rear bonnet tapes.
