Vaseline on the bonnet tapes is a recommended owner maintenance item. It makes a huge difference, lots of strange squeaks just disappear. Also grease the bonnet catches especially the fixed lower part.
The sidescreen panels do rub on the body paint just behind the doors, so I put some 3M body protection film there to protect the finish (I bought a small pack and it will do several applications for this).
