You are right and that was my thinking. I was looking forward to cleaning the car on Sunday, as is my ritual. But it's going to rain again so whats the point. Better to drive a dirty car and have no fear of the rain, puddles or dirt. The only thing I will polish is the fuel cap with a bit of autosol - I hate the look of the grime that builds up on that. I will wait until the weather is clearer until I wash the whole car.
