I'm afraid I'm in the Dave W school of thought. I will admit to taking my folding bucket and micro cloth with me to the Mille Miglia and washing the Mog twice, well in that sort of company you really have to make an effort!
Still got soaked coming home though even with the screens and top up, it felt more like steering a boat on the A4 through Milan.
