swmboJnr on the phone last night Uni Year over . I was telling her about the young lad who cleans his dads mog in return for a drive. Then she started telling me " I was brought up with mogs dad but its for old men , like you ( thanks )nothing to attract the youth of today who are the customers of tomorrow ." They are to costly hence you have to be in a good job and wait till your morgage is paid ". I tried to explain it's a small firm and the only way was to keep lifting the price . Yes dad but what about the young why dont Morgan play to them we have our in crowd and non drive mogs WHY , she had a point. If I had the cash today I would not buy a mog , I would feel out of place with all the old people . Trying to tell her she would be as welcome as the flowers in May hit a stone wall. . She was going to have her way so I just shut up and let her rant . She reminds me of that song IF I RULED THE WORLD. I had to think I was 21 once and had the same views age takes them away . Could not help but shut up public school educated and 3 year in uni giving me a dressing down on how life should be in words I dont understand . She forgets I am her rough diamond street wise old man ( Dad ) all that fancy talk goes over my head. But she did have a point we dont see any or many young people anymore when I joined in the mid 1980s I was in my 30s some lads 20s . Cant help but think it is going to end up as a dads hand them down to the family car.
