Thanks again for messages off line and comments here, really really useful stuff and I am grateful.
I took a look at the Series 3, drove it, loved it, wife likes the colour and thinks it is great. It did drive nice, much sweeter and responsive than any of the Plus 8's and the 4/4 that I have had and much much better than the DB7 Volante that I owned. It still has that feeling that you are in contact with the road. I guess it will be better for touring, which we now want to do and even with the roof up it seems it will be comfortable thanks to the air con and decent heater. Sorry to the purists like my brother-in-law who says if it has a heater it's not a Morgan ..... Balderdash I say, what is wrong with comfort as well as speed and enjoyment.
You are right mr_tony, it was just a few k more, however I am stopped at the Series 3 as I have made an offer on it. Just trying to sort out insurance as some people want a tracker on it and some don't, but higher premiums.
Ought to be in possession later on this coming week all being well and odd bits getting sorted. Just measured up the garage and it fits without having to move things around so green lights all round at the moment.
